When you imagine Holy Week in Seville, the hotel probably comes after the streets, the music and the processions. Yet the address you choose has a way of shaping the whole visit. It determines where you arrive with your bags, whether you can return for a rest and how the evening feels when you are ready to make your way back.
Seville's tourism office gives March 21 to 28 for Holy Week in 2027. For a stay built around the processions, a historic center hotel can put the city experience close at hand. A base farther east may suit travelers who prefer to make a deliberate trip into the center. The useful comparison is not simply central versus cheaper. It is the route between your room and the places you want to be.
The evening you want helps choose the address
You might want to spend an evening following the atmosphere through the center, with no early start planned the next day. Or you may be traveling with children, visiting an older relative, or hoping to see one procession before dinner and bed. Those are different hotel searches, even when the dates are the same.
Start with one or two things you particularly want to see, rather than trying to fit every procession into the trip. Visit Sevilla explains that the common official route runs from Plaza de la Campana to the Cathedral, while individual processions begin and end at their own churches. A hotel near one part of that journey will not be equally convenient for every other part.
The event dates do not establish the final timing or street route of every procession. Use the current programs when they are available, and check them again during the visit. Weather and operational decisions can change a plan, so a room booked near a familiar street is not a guarantee that a particular procession will pass beneath it.
Staying in the historic center
A central base can make it easier to return to your room between outings. That break may be welcome if you have spent the afternoon walking and want to go out again later. The other side of the choice is that the streets around your hotel may be part of the activity you came to see. A central address is not a promise of quiet or unrestricted vehicle access.

Look at its actual entrance in relation to the evening route you choose, then ask the hotel how arrivals are handled during your stay. If you are imagining a balcony or procession view, that needs separate confirmation for the exact room. Neither the address nor a general property photograph establishes it.
Room choice matters here as much as neighborhood choice. A room facing a lively street and one elsewhere in the same building may suit different travelers, but a preference or special request is not automatically a confirmed allocation. If sleep, access or a particular view would decide the booking for you, obtain a clear answer before relying on it.
A base farther east, with the journey planned
Being outside the historic core can make sense when you are happy to travel in for a chosen part of the day. It may also suit an itinerary built around an arrival or onward train at Santa Justa. There is no need to assume that every hotel away from the center will be quieter or cheaper, though. Compare the actual room and the journey you will make after the evening ends.
Meliá Lebreros, at Luis de Morales 2, offers a different location from the central Vincci option. It sits east of the historic core. Include the trip into the center and the return to the hotel in your decision, especially if you would rather avoid a long walk late at night. Check current transport arrangements instead of assuming a taxi can collect you beside a crowded procession route.

If the last part has to be walked, knowing that before you leave the airport or station makes the arrival easier to manage.
Aena lists the EA airport bus as a connection between Seville Airport and the city. Santa Justa is the city's principal rail arrival for many visitors coming from elsewhere in Spain. Neither option answers the final journey to your hotel on its own. Current stops, services and the route with luggage should be checked against the address you book.

If monuments or restaurants are important to your visit, check their arrangements for the dates you are there. A religious festival can affect the ordinary rhythm of a city. It is also worth treating the processions as acts of devotion rather than simply a spectacle to move through. Follow stewards' directions and leave the procession route clear.
Before going out, have the hotel address and a practical return route saved on your phone. A second route can be useful if the first is busy or restricted. Families may prefer an earlier outing and a shorter evening; travelers hoping to stay out late may care more about how they will reach the hotel afterward.
